1. Pay on time VAT
Avoid penalties by paying VAT on time. You will get paid a percentage of the unpaid VAT by HMRC at the due date, if your VAT return is late. You will not be charged if it happens first time but a warning will be issued instead. And if it repeats within the next 12 months, an assessment to settle on a surcharge of up to 15% will be prepared. It is a valuable tips to save money and time for your business.

2. Charge the proper VAT amount
You must make sure that you apply the right amount as there are different types of tax. Charging 17.5 percent, 5 percent, 0 percent or exempt can make a noticeable difference to your profit margins. Ask for expert advice from a VAT consultant, if you are not sure about the vat charge. It helps to save money and time.

3. Pay online VAT
The due date for the return and payment can be extended by an extra seven calendar days, if VAT is paid online.

4. Take advantage of the Annual Accounting Scheme
The main advantages are that you do not receive expensive VAT bills when it is not convenient because your payments are spread throughout the year. This aids your cash planning; less time is spent filling out VAT returns as you only have to fill our one return a year as opposed to the usual four.
VAT registered businesses benefit from this scheme as it enables them to pay VAT in nine monthly installments and then pay a balancing payment, every year. It saves money and time.

5. Cash Accounting schemes
You are eligible for the cash accounting scheme whereby you only pay VAT on invoices, if your annual turnover is less than £660, 000. The time your turnover reaches £825,000, you will not be able to use this scheme. The main advantage of using this cash accounting scheme is that it helps cash flow, especially if you have customers who pay late. It also benefits to save money and time for your business.

6. Don’t make unnecessary demands
Demanding VAT on the purchase of business entertainment or non-business expenses and vehicles is not allowed. And if you do it, you may be awarded a penalty and interest. It benefits time.

7. Ask for a VAT invoice
Always ask for a VAT invoice as this can be used to claim it back when buying.

8. Demand back VAT rapidly
Try to claim all expenses before long as this will help to ease your cash flow.

9. Flat rate scheme
You can calculate your VAT payment as a flat rate percentage of your turnover by using this scheme. The calculation of percentage depends on in which sector you trade in. You are not able to reclaim the paid VAT By using this scheme. Moreover it has been added to the flat rate percentage. As you don’t require accounting for the VAT charged on every sale and purchase, the flat rate scheme saves you money and time.

If you are passionate about small cars, then no other country is better than India to live in. Small cars mean a complete luxury.

If the Indian buyers don’t get an affordable car then they don’t buy it. Let you tell that why are small cars popular in India? Actually India is a country over loaded with congested lanes and narrow roads. It means that you need a vehicle that is small in size.

India has a long line-up list of car launches for the year 2010. Chevrolet recently launched its cute Beat and is already proving itself a rival killer due to its shocking price rate. Toyota revealed its Etios in Delhi Auto Expo last month and it looks like a million bucks but Indian buyers will have to wait till the end of this year to catch it. Two new small cars are coming to hit the market next month and these two new cars are the “FIGO” from Ford and the “POLO” from Volkswagen.

These are also two cars that have been priced very well and are expected to be hot sellers as well. Nissan also has a gift for the Indian buyers and it’s the all new “MICRA”, it’s expected to hit showrooms by May this year. Maruti launched it’s mini van the “Eeco”. The company will also launch a face-lifted version of it’s Wagon-R. You can expect reviews on all these cars in the near future.

Over the recent years art market has seen a steady rise all over the world. Prices of any form of art be it paintings, sculpture, and installations have touched the skies.

Art has become a trendy alternative for investment. One can buy art as an investment. However one should keep certain basic things in mind before one buys a piece of art. Here are few guidelines that will help you while buying a piece of art.

1.Study the market: You need to do your homework well and try to understand the value of the work. It is more important while buying art as the fake pieces will get you less or no returns.

2.Keep away from getting caught in fad buying: You do your own study and based on that select what you want to buy. Because the art piece is your favorite and you will enjoy it for a long time.

3. Budget: In other words limit your spending before you buy the art. If you have no knowledge about the budget, then it is better to take an advice from a veteran collector. They can tell you from the experience whether the particular piece is overpriced or not.

4. Try to be different: While buying the art piece don’t follow the trend. Try to buy which others are not buying. Art pieces which are not in trend can come at affordable price and can get you good returns later on.

5. Read: Read a lot about the artist you are planning to buy. About the kind of work he has done so far.

6. Know your taste: It is better to research various art forms and media such as oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas or water colors, while buying art especially as an investment. In the long run your taste will matter most than the monetary value of the art form. You must know which type of art you like the most. Do you like miniatures, traditional Tanjore paintings, and modern art. Decide all this before you venture out to buy your art.

Certainly it is impossible to live without a car in these present times. Lot of Indian buyers want to replace their vehicles every year. Normally we buy used 4-wheelers from a dealer or from individuals.

It is always better to buy a 2-3 years old 4-wheeler. It is easy to buy from individuals than from dealers. Direct purchase will save lot of money.

Buying used cars in India makes lot of sense. It profits the user financially. In India, most of the buyers want to buy small cars. Basically speaking small car segment govern the Indian automobile market. Eye-catching look, fuel economy and reasonable price of these 4-wheelers catch the attention of the average Indian buyer.

Many buyers are very much puzzled about assessing the prices. Take down the details of the vehicle. Discuss with the auto mechanic and ask him inspect. Get the report from auto mechanic to know the condition of the vehicle. It is always a must to check engine number and the chassis number. Generally it is imprinted on the manufacturer’s plate. Check whether the engine number and number in registration certificate is same. It’s better not to buy, if the numbers are damaged.

Try to buy a second hand car that is sold in good condition from your friends or relatives. Don’t negotiate with quality of the vehicle. You must be careful while you are planning to buy a second hand car, because you may get trapped by fake repairing charges. Actually few sellers conceal the repairs and damage through repainting.

There are a few basic requirements that need to be in place before an individual can start the process of buying, holding and selling shares. The 3 basic things needed for getting started are:

* Trading Account

* Dmat Account

* Bank Account

Trading Account
A Trading account is essential if an individual needs to buy and sell shares in the stock exchange. The 2 main stock exchanges in India are the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). A Trading account can also be opened with most banks and financial institutions, after filling up the required forms and providing identity and address proofs. The actual trading can be done by phone, internet. There are options to specify the price at which to buy or sell and it is easy to track the online status. In addition, there is a brokerage charge that is incurred for both buying and selling of shares. This charge differs across different trading houses. Also, government levies like the Securities Transaction Tax will be incurred on such transactions.

Dmat Account
A Dmat account is like a Bank Account. A Dmat account holds shares. So, if shares are bought, they are deposited into the buyers Dmat account and if shares are sold, they are reduced accordingly from the Dmat account. The electronic shares are deposited to or reduced from the Dmat account. Dmat shares have many advantages.
With the help of most banks and financial institutions you can open a Dmat account. For you need to fill up the required forms and submit the documents such as address proofs and identity proof. Let’s talk about the usual charges of this account below:

1. Opening charges of account
2. Yearly charges for maintaining the Dmat account
3. Recurring periodic charges for holding shares in the Dmat account
4. Other service charges based on transactions carried out. Usually, there are no transaction / service charges when shares are bought. The charges will be levied when shares are sold.

Bank account
A Bank account is where the money will be credited on sale of shares or money will be debited for buying shares. Undoubtedly, Bank account is required for carrying out a variety of financial transactions connected with trading of shares. It is a normal Savings Account and nothing additional needs to be done with the Bank account.

Trading process
Once the Dmat account, Trading account and Bank account are in place, an individual is ready to start trading. If you have the Dmat account, Trading account and Bank account with the same organization, then you can get offered additional convenience, especially for individuals trading using the internet. The following example of buying and selling using a Trading account on the internet illustrates the convenience of having the Dmat account, Trading account and Bank account with the same organization.

Buying shares: People log into the Trading account and state the details like the Company name, no. of shares to buy and the price at which to buy, when they want to buy a share. The required amount from the Bank account is kept aside for this trade relying on this information. The trade is executed and the amount is debited from the Bank account and the shares are credited into the Dmat account, when the desired price is reached.

Selling shares: When People want to sell a share, they logs into the Trading account and specifie the details like the Company name, no. of shares to sell and the price at which to sell. Relying on this information, the required no of shares from the Dmat account is set aside for this trade. When the desired price is reached, this trade is executed and the shares are debited from the Dmat account and the amount is credited to the Bank account.

There will be additional government taxes like STT and Service Tax, apart from the charges that are levied by the Bank. Please make sure to read all the terms and fee details of the service providers before opening any account.

Digital cameras have played a great role in picture modification today. You can save your time also by the inbuilt functions in digital cameras. Let’s discuss about its latest advanced features.

If you are planning to purchase a digital camera, then don’t select any less than 12-mega pixel camera. If you use a high-resolution camera like 12-mega pixel to take pictures, then definitely at the time of enlarging pictures are not blurred. With the help of 12-mega pixel resolution you can blow up the image to 76×102 cm (30×40 inches) print. It performs brilliantly for both personal as well as professional photography. Digital cameras also offer you high multiple digital zoom without resolution to make blurred images.

All digital cameras offer good digital zoom facility. However, to get better professional results you need optical zoom lens to take shots of objects that are extremely close and that are at a distance. With digital zoom, you can only crop the large image and blow up the remaining portion and resolution is less.

When sites get more traffic then undoubtedly unlimited domain hosting plan with unlimited bandwidth hosting is a best option for you to purchase more domain names in the future.

Choose right plan and a reliable company before you purchase of a hosting plan to check their reliability, service on the forums and blogs. Most of the web hosting companies provides unlimited hosting options but only few companies are offering excellent service.

You can get all your technical as well as non technical queries solved by live telephone support, live chat and ticket supporting system. Whatever the size of your business may be, but more customers will be attracted to your website by your presentation on the web world. You may select a good hosting service with small investment. Dedicated IP address is the best option for E commerce web sites. On the other hand if you are a serious investor, then reseller and cheap hosting service provider is not the best choice.

Some companies offer unlimited hosting plan like unlimited bandwidth hosting, FTP accounts, data base storage and domain. Before you are planning to purchase you should read the providers different options, price and their conditions. Limitless storage facility gives you to store pictures, photos, videos and music as much as you need. You can store photos, videos and music with the help of unlimited storage facility. You may require higher bandwidth that gets you more visitors to visit your site. Web page loading speed also plays a great role for search engine optimization.

You do not need to worry about your online presence if you choose right hosting plan. Truly speaking most of the sites do not use their space and bandwidth fully.

Reseller hosting business came out as a new and unique type of web hosting in the recent years which has successfully fascinated a lot of attention especially from the aspirant young entrepreneurs who wish to venture into this aspiring business.

The resellers are in a superior position to offer the right plans to different customers because they make out well the exact requirements of customers. Due to the quality of their service customers become attractive for their service. The reseller’s customer base gets to expand and grow more than required time.
For the case of a reseller hosting business, the reseller brought the web space from the original hosting company with a lower sale price rate. They again distributed these web spaces to other website owners. The reseller doesn’t own the web space or the server.

Now that we are well aware of the role of the reseller in this business, now let us explain how a reseller hosting business works.

Some resellers will modify their plans to fulfill their different customers’ needs. Customization helps carry additional profit to the resellers. It helps to keep both parties satisfied.

The reseller bought a 1000 MB space from a major web hosting company for $30 each month. This 1000 MB space will be divided into smaller space of 50 MB each to sell at $ 10 each month per plan. It means that the reseller will get $200 monthly by selling 20 plans. The net income of the reseller is $170 after paying off $30 to the hosting owner.

One key point that should be highlighted is reseller income is a type of income to keep repeating itself occasionally. In this case, the reseller will be paid every month constantly although it seems like the job was done only one time. Over time, by recruiting some assistant resellers to sell these reseller plans for them when their business grows, the reseller might start earning commissions on regular basis.
